The ER-flow project's aim is to build a European Research Community to promote workflow sharing and to investigate interoperability of the scientific data in workflow sharing.

The project will disseminate the achievements of the FP7 SHIWA project, particularly the coarse-grained workflow interoperability based on the SHIWA Simulation Platform.

BonFIRE will design, build and operate a multi-site Cloud prototype FIRE facility to support research across applications, services and systems at all stages of the R&D lifecycle, targeting the services research community on Future Internet.

A projekt célja, hogy a két laboratórium együttműködése révén olyan, Európában is egyedülállónak számító rendszer jöjjön létre, amiben lehetőség van egy kísérleti fizikai gyártórendszer konfigurációjának és működtetésének virtuális térbe való kiterjesztésére. Ehhez szükség van az Intézet két kiemelt erőforrása - a SmartFactory valamint a 3DCave/VirCA rendszerek - közti valósidejű, kétirányú kapcsolat és együttműködés megteremtésére. A pályázat - egy kétéves időtávon - az ide vezető lépéseket határozza meg.

Az E+grid adaptív intelligens energia-pozitív közvilágítási rendszer kifejlesztését a napenergia közvilágítási rendszerekben történő felhasználása, az intelligens energiahálózatok (smart grid) terjedése, az energiatakarékosságra való törekvés, valamint az intelligens városokban (smart cities) a közvilágítástól elvárt hozzáadott szolgáltatások motiválták.

The main goal of ProActive is to research a holistic citizen-friendly multi sensor fusion and intelligent reasoning framework enabling the prediction, detection, understanding and efficient response to terrorist interests, goals and curses of actions in an urban environment.To this end, ProActive will rely on the fusion of both static knowledge(i.e. intelligence information) and dynamic information (i.e. data observed from sensors deployed in the urban environment).

In the past ten years, modern societies have developed enormous communication and social networks.Their classification and information retrieval becomes a formidable task for the society. Various search solutions have been developed by private companies which are actively used by Internet users. Due to the recent enormous developmentof World Wide Web and communication networks, new tools and algorithms should be invented to characterize the properties of these networks on a more detailed and precise level.

The project has two main goals. The first is the research on clouds as distributed computing systems and the second is to develop and to deploy an institutional cloud infrastructure based on the results of first goal that allows the significant improvement of the local IT infrastructure. This new cloud based infrastructure will be significantly more effective and more cost efficient than the former infrastructure built on traditional conceptions and individual specific servers.

The integrated4D (i4D) project of MTA SZTAKI is a joint mission of the Distributed Events Analysis Research Laboratory (DEVA) and the Geometric Modelling and Computer Vision Laboratory (GMCV). The main objective of the project is to design and implement a pilot system for the reconstruction and visualisation of complex spatio-temporal scenes by integrating two different types of data: outdoor 4D point cloud sequences recorded by a car-mounted Velodyne HDL-64E LIDAR sensor, and 4D models of moving actors obtained in an indoor 4D Reconstruction Studio.

A pályázat fő célja egy széles körben használható, erő-visszacsatolással rendelkező valamint robotra szerelhető, interneten (vagy egyéb kommunikációs csatornán) keresztül irányítható megfogó tervezése és megépítése. A projekt rendszer- és irányításelméleti új tudományos valamint gyakorlati alkalmazási jelentőséggel egyaránt bír a gyorsan változó időkéséses (internet) dinamikai feladatok terén és az MTA SZTAKI-n belüli kooperációt is eredményez. Irányításelméleti szempontból két, a nemzetközi szakirodalom számára is új eredmény várható.

The INARMERA-ICT Project aims at reinforcing the cooperation capacity of the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems (IIAP) of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia by providing the possibilities to improve its research activities in the areas of thematic priorities of the 7th Framework Programme.
