The new research infrastructure and service platform rely on big data, cloud, and HPC technologies to support precision farming.

Conventional treatment of the cataract is the surgical replacement of the lens of impaired transparency by an artificial intraocular lens. This can provide considerable recuperation of the vision patients. Since the eye cannot focus the artificial intraocular lenses (IOLs), the latest IOLs have multiple focus, which enables patents to cover both short range and long range sharp vision. In this project we investigate through simultaions how, and what extent can the neural system adapt to the changed imaging properties of the implanted artificial lens, especially to the multi-focal ones.

We are dedicated to continuously supervising the Institute's very own intranet of more than 300 computers, carrying out the necessary structural changes needed to keep secure functioning up, sensing and deflecting attacks from remote locations. The eLearning Department of MTA SZTAKI prepared a mobile application and multilingual walks downloadable to mobile devices within the framework of project entitled "Development of Public Association for Tourism in Tata as a local-level TDM organisation". The Tattami advanture game is a GPS-based interactive travel among the walks in Tata application. The walk entitled "Tattami adventure game - walk the Calvary road" unifies the exciting world of legends and puzzles associated with the locations and the novel experiences of a long-awaited travel guaranteeing recreation.

ChaosFire is an innovative experiment executed in the frame of the 1st Open Call of the Fed4FIRE. Following the succesful comnpletion of KOPFire as part of BonFIRE, ChaosFire is DSD's second Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) project.

We prepare an innovative and complex training material for all levels of the public education in order to successfully execute the development of the key competence National self-awareness, patriotic education formulated in the National curriculum that came into effect in September 2013. The training material makes continuous teaching, learning and widespread knowledge transfer possible for both the teachers and pupils from the age of kindergartener to completing the secondary school.
