Introduction

Mátyás Szabari is a Research Associate at the System and Control Lab. He received his Masters degree in Mathematics in 2023 at Eötvös Loránd University. He started doing research in signal processing and system identification in 2022, handing in a competition entry for the National Students' Science Competition (OTDK) for which he received second price in the Signal Processing Division and a special price (Pro Scientia Brooch of Hope Award) for the best scientific result in the Informatics Section.

Besides academia he gathered valuable industrial experience from working as an Software Engineer for 8 years (2015-2023) developing algorithms for production planning and optimization.

He is currently pursuing his PhD degree at the ELTE IK Doctoral School of Informatics in the topic of system identification.
