HUN-REN SZTAKI researchers held interactive robotics demonstration for schoolchildren

In the framework of their career orientation day, fourth grade students of the Lágymányosi Bárdos Lajos Bilingual Primary School visited HUN-REN SZTAKI.

The pupils first got acquainted with the Hungarian history of computer science at the institute’s hardware history exhibition, which is now also virtually accessible, with the help of Csanád Csáji Balázs, Senior Research Fellow of the Engineering and Management Intelligence Research Laboratory.

The session continued in HUN-REN SZTAKI’s Innovation and Demonstration Space (IDT), where other members of the lab - János Nacsa, Senior Research Fellow; János Csempesz, Development Engineer; Imre Paniti, Researcher; Gábor Godó and Mátyás Hajós, Developers - gave interactive robotics demonstrations for the children.

The students also had the opportunity to develop their creative problem-solving skills further, which are essential for research work. In this, they could count on the help of several mechanical puzzles, from the private collection of Sándor Bozóki, Senior Research Fellow of the institute.
