The Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory of (MILAB) introduced itself at the MENTA conference of the ICT Association of Hungary (IVSZ).

IVSZ, the organization that brings together the participants of IT, telecommunications and electronics industries, held its annual executive manager meeting, MENTA, this year as well.

Mr.Gábor Érdi-Krausz, the project coordinator of MILAB, introduced the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory to the audience in the “From now to forever” section of MENTA. He outlined MILAB’s place in the Hungarian AI ecosystem and also offered a partnership to market participants to collaborate with MILAB’s research community.

The conference - like the year 2020 in general - was unusual in many aspects. Beyond the absence of multinational companies, the obviousness of online presentations, there were much fewer visitors in the compared to previous years. But even so, 150 participants were personally curious about industry trends and novelties.

The main sponsor of the two-day event was the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH). In connection with the Artificial Intelligence National Strategy, the participants could also listen to the presentations of the Deputy Chairman of NKFIH, Ms.Katalin Sebők, and the head of the National Data Asset Agency (NAVÜ), Mr.András Levente Gál.
