His research is focusing on the cognitive aspects of driving and driver behavior. He is interested in especially how innovative systems can be designed in ways that meet the cognitive and perceptual capabilities of the human user. During his doctoral years, he conducted experiments at several universities abroad (UCL, Technion, UTexas, Aix-Marseille Université, OFFIS) and learnt to use various tools and methodologies (EEG, GSR, Eyetracking, HMD, CAVE etc.)
