Description
In the previous three years of the project we developed a unique competence in the area of Internet active measurements. Our group joined the OneLab2 international consortium to build the EU Future Internet Experimental Facilty within the EU research programme Future Internet Research and
Experimentation. This is a unique oportunity to propagate our new developments and to influence the nascent Future Internet architecture. Our goal is to use this advantage to keep our lead in this area and to intensively utilize our results. A related goal is to develop a high speed network for 3D media applications where virtual and real environments can be mixed. We plan to use this infrastructure to develop human- robot and other intelligent informatics systems communication applications. We would like to integrate our system with symilar systems in EU and worldwide and to develop a federated pilot laboratory. Further goal is to use this laboratory for 3d cognitive info-communication and to develop an event based telemanipulation system. Another research goal in
this project to study ad-hoc overlay structures in order to develop dynamic service systems. In the project we solve the problem of context awareness and then we fit the best service system to the realized context.
