Description
Considering the production structures as complex adaptive systems, the final goal is to make important steps towards the theoretical foundation of modelling, planning, control and management of dynamic, flexible production structures. Levels from shop floors through enterprises to the production networks are to be considered, and a synergy between the aspects of optimization, autonomy, and cooperation is envisaged.
