Hungarian Academy of Sciences - General Assembly for re-election of officials, May 3, 2011
The General Assembly re-elected József Pálinkás, President of the Academy for a further 3 year-term. Similarly, Tamás Németh, Secretary General, and Valéria Csépe, Deputy Secretary General were re-elected.
Domokos Szász was elected the Vice-President Natural Sciences.
The General Assembly made decision on the Members of the Presidency. Having a high proportional number of votes, József Bokor was elected the Member of the Presidency, representing Natural Sciences. With the exception of László Keviczky, who acted as the Secretary General and also the Vice President, no scientists from the SZTAKI have had an Academic post of this measure.
Based on the nomination of scientific divisions, the General Assembly elected Lajos Rónyai the Member of the Doctoral Board of the Academy.
