Each of the four daily seminar sessions is 90 minutes for the presentation of three or four papers. Oral presentation, therefore, should be confined to 15-20 minutes, so that time is left for questions and discussion.

The main venues of the Congress are in the premises of the Eotvos Lorand University (ELTE) and Budapest University of Economics (BUE). They are situated close to one another in the centre of Budapest, near the river Danube. Most conference hotels are within walking distance.

The superior and medium hotels and some of the university hostels are in walking distance (5-10 minutes walk) from the Congress venue. From other hotels and hostels the venue can be reached by public transport (10-20 minutes).
Lunch can be taken in several traditional and fast food restaurants around the Congress venue. For those preferring the in house meals a buffet lunch will be provided in one of the buildings of ELTE. The cost of a 5 day carnet is USD 50, which has to be paid by April 30, 1997 (see the Registration Form). We regret to inform you that on-the-spot requests may not be accepted.
The congress registration fee, accompanying person's fee, lunch carnet and hotel deposit should be paid to SCOPE Ltd. All payments should be made in USD.
International Credit Cards (American Express, EuroCard/MasterCard and Visa) can be used for payment.
The payments should be sent to the account of SCOPE Ltd. See the Registration Form.
For on-the-spot payments, cash or credit cards (American Express, EuroCard/MasterCard and Visa) will be accepted.
The Third Circular and a letter confirming congress registration and hotel/hostel accommodation will be sent in May 1997 to each participant who will have returned the completed Registration Form.
Registrations cancelled in writing and received on or before 10 June, 1997, will be refunded subject to a 10% administration charge. No fees will be refunded for cancellation requests received after 10 June, 1997.
