| Publication and typing instructions |
| Authors are expected to bring three hard copies of their paper as well as an electronic version (.ps or .pdf file) to the conference. If it is more convenient, the electronic version could also be sent to the following e-mail address: richter@sztaki.hu. All manuscripts that have been submitted by the end of the conference will be included in the unreviewed proceedings, which will be published on a CD shortly after the conference. Five representative papers from each session, either oral presentations or posters, will be published in the hardcover IAG/Springer series after review of the full papers by two reviewers. It is expected that this volume will be available in spring 2002. All papers have to follow the typing instructions and will be limited to a maximum of six pages. In most cases the ‘short version/sample paper’ of the typing instructions will be sufficient. If not use the ‘full version’. |

| Host City |
| The
Hungarian capital, Budapest, known as the “Pearl of the Danube”, is a bustling
city in the heart of Europe, with over two million inhabitants. Its two
halves are Buda and Pest. Buda, on the right bank of the Danube, has hills
and valleys, and has for centuries been the administrative centre of the
country; it was formerly the royal seat. On the left bank, Pest has grown
into a large, busy and modern city, spreading out on to the plains.

and conferences. The premises of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences will
accommodate the IAG Scientific Assembly and all the related meetings.
The building of the Academy can easily be reached by public transport. The downtown of the city is within walking distance. Address:

| Arrival in Budapest - transfer from the airport & railway |
| Most
participants will arrive at the Budapest
Ferihegy Airport. The simplest means of transportation to any place
in Budapest is via minibuses. This door-to-door Airport
Minibus Service is reasonably priced (approx. USD 6) and is much more
reliable than taxis.
A Railbus Service operates from the three major railway stations, with approximately the same conditions as the Airport Minibus. |
